Amara Raja Vidyalayam, Diguvamagham
Amara Raja Vidyalayam, Diguvamagham (ARVD), was established on 14 June 2016 and formally commenced operations on 10 June 2017. The school functions under the aegis of the Rajanna Foundation (formerly Amara Raja Educational Society – ARES), a CSR initiative of the Amara Raja Group.
The institution was founded as a tribute to the parents of Chairman Dr. Ramachandra N Galla, namely Smt. Galla Mangamma and Sri Galla Gangulu Naidu. ARES is deeply inspired by the ideals and vision of Sri P. Raja Gopal Naidu, a former Parliamentarian, eminent writer, educationist, and social reformer who dedicated his life to rural upliftment through education.
Amara Raja Vidyalayam was established with a noble vision to enrich the lives of children in rural communities through quality education. With the dedicated efforts of Chairman Dr. Galla Ramachandra Naidu and Smt. Galla Aruna Kumari, the school began its journey in the academic year 2016–17 with 385 students, supported by 12 staff members, 9 classrooms, and 3 school buses, serving nearly 70 villages.
The school was inaugurated by Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the then Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, marking a significant milestone in its journey.
With unwavering determination, strong leadership, and a clear vision, the institution has steadily grown in strength and stature. Today, the school stands tall with a committed team of 72+ staff members, nurturing 1700+ students.
The school has been affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since 30 May 2017, and continues to focus on imparting 21st-century skills, preparing students to thrive in a dynamic and globalized world.
