History of Our School

RGNAmara Raja Vidyalayam was established on June 8, 1995, under the aegis of Rajanna Foundation (erstwhile Amara Raja Educational Society – ARES). The institution was founded on the noble vision of Late P. Raja Gopal Naidu garu, a respected former Parliamentarian, who believed in educating and empowering rural children to transform them into confident, capable, and successful individuals.

With a deep commitment to carrying forward his ideals, his daughter Smt. Galla Aruna Kumari and son-in-law Dr. Ramachandra N. Galla laid the foundation of Amara Raja Vidyalayam as a platform to nurture young minds and shape future generations.

In its humble beginning, the school started with just sixteen students, two dedicated teachers – Smt. Nirmala and Smt. Sujatha – and two housekeeping staff members. With unwavering determination, strong leadership, and a clear vision, the institution steadily grew in strength and stature.

Over the years, the school has expanded significantly and today stands tall with a committed team of around 50 staff members nurturing more than 1000 students. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since May 30, 2017, and continues to focus on imparting 21st Century skills to prepare students for a dynamic and globalized world.

Founder Chairman

Greetings!

The foundation of our educational journey was laid by the inspiring vision of Late Sri P. Raja Gopal Naidu garu, who touched countless lives with his integrity, dedication, and commitment to social upliftment. Being part of this noble mission is both an honor and a responsibility.

As we move forward under the banner of Rajanna Foundation, we remain dedicated to preserving and reflecting his ideologies in the lives of our students. Our responsibility is not merely to educate but to empower young minds to become responsible global citizens equipped with the skills required to thrive in an ever-changing and dynamic world.

In today’s fast-evolving society, students must develop essential 21st  Century skills such as critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, collaboration, effective communication, and sensitivity towards sustainable development and conservation of resources.

The partnership between educators and parents plays a vital role in guiding students through challenges and helping them realize their full potential. We must encourage our children to take ownership of their learning, blending their efforts with the guidance of teachers and the support of parents. This collaborative approach will help them grow into internally motivated, lifelong learners.

Beyond personal success, our students must cultivate empathy, social responsibility, and a spirit of service. By caring for others and contributing positively to society, they embody true humanity.

Together, with shared commitment and dedication, we can continue this great mission and contribute towards building a stronger and more responsible nation.

May God bless our endeavours.
